Your privacy matters. SunDial is designed to provide its functionality without operating a backend server that collects or stores your personal information.

SunDial ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information SunDial may access and how that information is handled when you use the App.

SunDial may access certain device features and data when necessary to provide functionality that you request.

Bluetooth

SunDial uses Bluetooth to discover, connect to, and communicate with compatible Bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth-related information is used to provide the Bluetooth functionality of the App. SunDial does not operate a server that collects or stores Bluetooth information.

Microphone

SunDial may access the microphone when you use features that require audio input or audio communication.

Audio captured through the microphone is processed for the functionality requested by you. SunDial does not upload microphone recordings to a SunDial-operated server.

Files

SunDial may access files on your device when you choose to open, select, send, receive, or otherwise process files using the App.

SunDial accesses files only when necessary for features initiated by you.

2. Data Collection

SunDial does not operate its own backend server for collecting or maintaining users' personal information.

SunDial does not intentionally collect or maintain the following personal information on a remote server:

Your name
Email address
Phone number
Precise location
Contacts
Account credentials
Personal profile information

The App does not require you to create an account.

3. Data Storage

SunDial does not transmit your personal information to a SunDial-operated server.

Data generated or processed by the App may remain locally on your device, depending on how you use the App and the features you select.

You are responsible for files and other content that you choose to provide to the App.

4. Data Sharing

SunDial does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

SunDial does not use personal information for advertising purposes.

5. Network Communication

SunDial does not operate a backend server for collecting or storing user information.

If the App communicates with another device or service as part of a feature that you explicitly use, such communication is limited to providing the requested functionality.

Depending on your device and the features you use, SunDial may request permissions related to the following:

Bluetooth

Used to discover, connect to, and communicate with compatible Bluetooth devices.

Microphone

Used when you choose to use features that require audio input.

Files and Media

Used when you choose to open, select, send, receive, or process files through the App.

You can manage these permissions through your device's system settings. You may deny or revoke permissions, although doing so may prevent certain features of SunDial from functioning correctly.

7. Children's Privacy

SunDial does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because SunDial does not require an account and does not operate a server for collecting personal information, the App does not maintain a database of children's personal information.

8. Security

SunDial does not operate a server that stores users' personal information.

We nevertheless recommend that you use the security features provided by your device and keep your operating system up to date.
